The CHS Vocal Pops Concert features the singers of the Clarkston Vocal Music Department singing solos, duets, small and large group songs. There will be singers with guitars, singers with piano, drums, a cappella songs, and two HUGE Broadway-type Medleys by the entire vocal department. And of course, we'll end with the Parting Blessing by the Madrigals including the many alumni who return for this concert.
$5 General admission at the door; starts at 7:00pm songs by Katy Perry, The Wreckers, Florence and the Machine, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Jack Johnson, Amy Winehouse, The Script, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney), Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Adele, Phil Collins, Spring Awakening (the musical), and Billy Joel.
Please help me to congratulate the following students who will be representing Detroit Voice next year! Thanks to all who auditioned. The fact that it was a hard decision means good things for the group moving forward. :)

Now is the time to renew your registration in the Kroger Community Rewards program! The cycle runs from May 1-April 30 each year. If you are already participating in this program (thank you!) please renew your commitment by choosing us again anytime during this new cycle.
PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS by asking friends and family to register on our behalf. Out of town friends can help as well. Kroger has stores in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and more. See website for chain names in participating states.
Ms. Blanchard was the first in the district to participate. It took almost an entire school year to convince the board office to cooperate with the necessary federal paperwork, but her hard work to get us approved and paved the way for Clarkston school groups who now benefit from this wonderful passive fundraiser. You can switch your “loyalty” every 6 months online, so it couldn't be easier to help, even if you have a prior group commitment.
We had activity on only a dozen cards, but still made enough to make a difference. With 200 choir members, if we can get 50 or more cards registered, we can provide help to all 3 buildings. Graduating Seniors and alumni can help too, so spread the word. DO IT NOW so you'll be active by the time the new cycle begins on May 1st.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!

Hi everyone,
We've got a project we've just launched with our CHS a cappella group Detroit Voice to record our first CD. We're going to be working with the BEST a cappella recording engineers in the business and are really excited to get started. Many thanks in advance if you can help them realize this dream by backing the project or by passing along the info to others! There are lots of cool rewards for becoming a backer of the project. We've got 30 days to fund it and are already off to a great start.
*The alternates listed would be added to the group should someone in that section drop out or if they are removed by Mr. Haverkate.
